Today Year 1 visited Woburn Safari Park to see the African animals which we have been learning about in our topic. We drove around the park and saw rhinos, lions, giraffes, zebras, monkeys ostriches as well as tigers bears and wolves. We were very entertained by the monkeys climbing onto all of the cars and even our coach! After a picnic lunch we visited the elephant show and found out about how the elephants were looked after. Some of us even got to touch an elephant! Then we visited the lemurs and learnt about how they help plants and trees to grow by spreading seeds and pollen. We had a fabulous day and the adults were so impressed with how well behaved the children all were. I'm sure everyone will sleep well tonight!!!!
