Remember to read every day and it's great to share reading with other family members.
Think about different types of reading material, for example; books, magazines, food packets, instructions for games, websites, to name a few.

Friday Focus: Can I check calculations?

When you are out having some exercise, count how many odd numbers you can see and how many even numbers you can see.
Thursday Focus: Can I decide the best way to present data?

Invent your own way to practise your times tables. For example a game or a set of actions.

Backwards counting throwing and catching. Start at 91. Throw and catch the ball with a partner whilst counting backwards. When you drop the ball, work out how many you counted. Repeat with different numbers.
