Friday 12th June 2020

It's Friday!!! We made it. How have you found your first week back? It's been a very busy week for all the teachers and Vine staff. Once again, you have really impressed us with the quality learning that you have been emailing in. You are all super stars and we are very proud of each and every one of you. It seems like you have enjoyed writing your stories this week. The plans that you have produced look fantastic so we are very excited to read your finished narratives. The Year 6 Team would also like to say a big thank you for your lovely emails this week; we have received lots of kind comments which are really appreciated. We miss you too! Have a fantastic Friday and a wonderful weekend!

COMPETITION TIME!!! The Friday competitions are back. This week's competition is the... Smiley Photo Competition. We would like you to take a photo which will make all of the Year 6 adults smile and email it in to us. This could be anything from a really silly photo to a cute pet photo, or even a photo of your cheesiest grin. It simply has to make all of us smile from ear to ear. The photos that produce the biggest smiles will be announced our winners.

WINNERS!!! Thank you so much for all of your entries today, you certainly made us smile at the end of a long and busy week. We have chosen 4 winners today. Congratulations to... Isabel, Ethan, Oriana and Ashton!

Thursday 11th June 2020

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day...   Good morning Year 6! Do you think this rain will ever stop? It is reminding Miss Foster of being back home in the north! We are sure that you will brighten up our day with your lovely emails though. If you have not sent us an email yet, please do make sure you send one today (otherwise we will have to start chasing you).

Thank you to everyone who has sent in a positive message for the children of Uzimatele Primary School. If you have not sent yours in yet, there is still time - please take a photo of your message and email it to us by the end of the week so that we can send them off next week.

Good morning Year 6! It's great weather for ducks today. (Fun fact - did you know that ducks have 3 eyelids on each eye?)
