Good morning everybody! We can't believe it is Friday already! We hope you had a lovely week?
We are looking forward to some sunshine now, after all this rain yesterday.
Today for English we will be emailing you your guided reading book.
In Maths we are practising our number pairs for 20 and how to read clock times. There are links to two games on
the instruction sheet as well as resource sheets from yesterday.

Thursday 9th July
Today in English we are practising forming our capital letters P, B, R. There is a video for you to watch on the website and you already have the sheets in your remote learning packs.
In Maths we are revisiting number pairs and how to read o'clock and half past times.

Today in English we are practising reading words with the chatty friends ‘i-e’. Can you spot which words are real and which are alien? You already have the sheet in your remote learning pack but there is a copy below in case you can’t find it.
In Maths today we are continuing to practise our number pairs and related subtraction facts. We are also revisiting how we measure time.

Today in English we are thing about things which make us feel relaxed and peaceful. Write a list and send us a photograph.
In Maths we are continuing to revisit number pairs and using these to work out the related subtraction facts. Today we are also using our addition skills to solve addition pyramids before creating our own one.

Good morning Year 1! We hope that you've all had a lovely weekend?
Today for English our focus is writing a list of things which make you feel happy. There is a video for you to watch and a sheet below which will help you with this. We are all missing seeing your smiley faces, so it would be lovely if you can send in a photo of you as well with something which makes you feel happy.
In Maths we have covered all the topics for Year 1 so we are now going to be revisiting some key skills to refresh our memories! We would also like you to practise some number pairs every day this week and work out the related subtraction facts.
