Welcome Back Year 6!

It's the last week of term!!

Welcome to the last week of Year 6 remote learning! Can you believe that we are finally here? When we said goodbye on Friday 20th March, did you ever think we would be here nearly 4 months later? We are so proud of each and every one of you for the effort you have put into your remote learning, you have done so well! Just one more week to go.

We have got lots of fun learning for you to do this week and keep your eyes peeled at the end of the week for some special end of Year 6 treats.

Friday 17th July 2020

It's Friday! We finally made it to the last day of term! It's the last Friday of Year 6! Can you believe it? Wow, what a year we have had! We are so proud of the way that you have tackled remote learning over the last 4 months and have been really impressed by the quality learning that you have continued to produce! Give yourself a pat on the back! Well done! We can't believe that this day is finally here. We won't go all soppy on you yet though, look out for an email later on today and a special 'Goodbye Year 6' page on our website. If you get chance, why not send one last email to The Year 6 Team?! Thursday 16th July 2020

Happy Thursday! It's the last Thursday of Year 6! 2 more days! Thank you very much to everyone who has sent in their portraits this week for our 'special project'. Today is the last day to send in any portraits (otherwise it will be too late) so if you haven't sent in your portrait yet, please do it today. You'll be pleased to know that our Y6 song is almost finished! It's sounding amazing, just a few tweaks to be made. You'll be able to hear it very soon! Wednesday 15th July 2020

Happy Wednesday! It's the last Wednesday of year 6! This week is flying by. We hope you are enjoying the learning that we have set this week. Lots of you seem to be having lots of fun with the science investigations. It was lovely to see Mr Richardson's bubble's smiling faces yesterday and we can't wait to see the other bubbles on Thursday and Friday too. For those of you not attending the transition sessions, the session 3 PPT is now on the website - please do go through the slides and complete the tasks on there (then email these to us as soon as you can).

Tuesday 14th July 2020

Happy Tuesday! It's your last Tuesday in Year 6! Thank you so much for all of your kind birthday wishes for Miss Foster yesterday, she had a great day (made even better by your lovely messages)! We know that we keep saying this, but... half of you still haven't emailed in your portraits!! It will look a bit odd if you don't have a portrait next to your name in our special project when others do. Please spend half an hour drawing yourself doing something you have enjoyed in Year 6, take a picture of it and email it in to The Year 6 Team. It could be anything you like including you with your friends, you on the big zipper, you playing football, you as a peer mediator, even just a head and shoulders portrait of yourself.
