On Thursday 28^th April, members of Garden Club in Year 6 were welcomed by staff and students at Cambourne Village College.  We were given a tour of their Garden Club facilities and were able to plant apple trees as part of their 'Queen's canopy' initiative. We were so grateful for the huge amount of effort the staff and students had put into planning our visit from learning and experimenting with our senses to being able to magnify flowers using their amazing microscopy facilities. 

Our pupils had such a fun afternoon and they were able to speak to students and ask questions about joining the college in September.  It is a lovely thought that they will be able to see their trees grow as part of the 'Queen's canopy' in their forthcoming time at Cambourne Village College.
