This term EYFS have taken part in some enriching activities to help bring our learning alive.

We celebrated Chinese New Year by cooking sticky rice cakes, making Chinese lanterns and taking part in a dragon parade across the playground. 

As part of our traditional tales Literacy learning FS2 read the story of the Billy Goats Gruff after having had a visit from some real goats from Monach Farm. They also brought with them some sheep and miniature ponies. We were so excited to have animals at The Vine and the pupils were brilliant at remembering to talk quietly and stroke them carefully and respectfully. After the visit we were inspired to do some great writing.
