  We were delighted to hear all about Thanksgiving in Year 1 today. We read a special story and thought about the many things we are thankful for in our end of day prayer.

  

• Act of Remembrance - Cambourne Schools Together

  All the Cambourne Schools were asked by Cambourne Church to take part in the display for their Act of Remembrance Service. It looked fantastic!

  

• Houses of Parliament

  Today in Year 1 we have been learning about what the Houses of Parliament are for. We role played being MPs and staged a debate about extra break times as a treat. We then all voted. You will be very surprised at what the outcome was! Check out Amber Class page to see the video.

• Year Six Remembrance 2018

  To remember the end of World War One, Year Six led two very special services today (Friday 9th November). Our morning service was shared with the whole school and each year group laid a wreath of poppies that they had made. Our afternoon service was shared with parents, carers, family and friends. We shared poems and songs that we had written ourselves and some that were written by people who had experienced the war.
