Wow, wasn't it hot yesterday! We hope that you all managed to find somewhere cool to be.

Today we will be emailing you your guided reading and follow up activities for today.

In maths you have your end of week quiz to complete.

Mrs Bennett has read a story for you to listen to also!

Well we were absolutely amazed by the fantastic news reports we were sent yesterday. Year 1 you are truly amazing and we're sure several of you will have careers in presenting TV programmes when you are older. If you haven't done so it's still not too late to send us your reports if you'd like to. 

Today for your English we'd like you to complete the phonics grid 'u-e' which you have in your remote learning packs at home. There is a video for you to watch and a copy of the grid below in case you can't find it.

In maths we are using our subtraction skills to find the difference between numbers.
