Spelling
At The Vine, we follow The Spelling Shed scheme. Each week, pupils focus on a new spelling rule taught through two discrete spelling lessons. Pupils consolidate their learning through a range of activities, both in school and at home, including online practice using Spelling Shed and offline methods. Spelling knowledge is assessed weekly through spelling tests, helping pupils to retain and apply what they have learnt.
