Extra-Curricular Music at The Vine

At The Vine, we have a range of extra-curricular activities which children can get involved in:

  • Vine Voices
  • Voice in a Million
  • Instrumental lessons
  • The V Factor
  • Carol concert

Vine Voices

Vine Voices is our KS2 choir which is run by Miss Foster. We learn to sing a range of songs throughout the year and perform at various events such as Voice in a Million and the carol concert.

Voice in a Million

Each March, our Vine Voices choir head to Wembley Arena to participate in Voice in a Million - an event where thousands of children come together to sing and perform. To find out more about VIAM, please visit their website.

Instrumental Lessons

At The Vine, we offer the opportunity for children to learn an instrument through 1:1 or small group lessons with tutors from Cambridgeshire Music. We currently offer guitar, ukulele, piano and singing lessons. To sign your child up for lessons, please visit the Cambridgeshire Music website where you can set up a parent account and register your interest. https://www.cambridgeshiremusic.org.uk/

The V Factor

The V Factor is our annual talent show where we showcase the talent we have at The Vine. The V Factor is hugely popular with our children and it is a chance for our young musicians to shine in front of their peers.

Carol Concert

In December, we hold our annual KS2 carol concert where we come together to sing traditional Christmas carols. The children are lucky enough to be accompanied by a small ensemble made up of some talented members of our school community. We have received lovely feedback from our parents who often say it is a highlight of their year.
