Remote Learning

Hello preschool! We are so sad we can't meet up with you to hear all about your Christmas holidays but we have been busy recording videos for you to do your remote learning at home. Please find links below to all of the videos on our Video Resource Centre. When you take part in some of the activities please do upload videos and photos to Tapestry- it makes our day to know you are safe, well and enjoying your learning.

We will be giving you a call once each week to check on your wellbeing and to check if you need help engaging with the remote learning resources.

Phonics Fri 8th Focus: Can you identify rhyming words within song and speech? Watch Mrs Buddle sing a rhyming song and see if you can identify the rhyming words. Play along in a game of Rhyming I-Spy and then for your own activities today see if you can play this with your grown up, or have another go on phonicsplay.co.uk

Maths Friday 8th Focus:- Can you use descriptive language to say where something is? Watch the video with Mrs Bransbury using descriptive words to say where something is. Now can you play a game of toy hide and seek using these descriptive words to help the searcher.

Understanding the World Friday 8th Focus: Can you talk about how things are different in the past? Learn about houses in the past with Mrs Buddle, watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U-r-xHln6nE and then see if you can construct one of your own with your blocks/Duplo at home!

Maths Thurs 7th Can you watch the video with Mrs Bransbury and identify how many items are on the pictures without counting them first. When you have finished this task can you group some items from 1 to 10?

Expressive arts and Design

Today can you watch the video to make your own beanstalk and castle. To do this you will need the following resources and equipment:-

Toilet roll or kitchen towel roll.

Green crayons, felt pens or paint

Paper green or white

Pencil

Scissors

Sticky tape or glue stick

Cotton wool and paper plate if you have it if not you can use white paper.
