On Wednesday, Cambourne Village College had an Open Evening. It was for the Year 6's from schools like Jeavons Wood, Monkfield Park and The Vine to visit and look around all the classrooms they will be working in next September.

There was a Pink, Blue, Green and a new Orange wing where all the classrooms are placed. As soon as you walk through the entrance, on your left is the library, in front is a flight of stairs and a hallway leading to all the wings. Maths, English, Art, DT, Science and Cooking are only a few of the many lessons that are taught daily at Cambourne Village College. It felt sensationally huge to us!

At the Open Evening, there were lots of challenges and with some of them we could win sweets for competing but sadly we don't get sweets for doing the actual lessons! We had a quiz / challenge to complete by visiting all the classrooms to find the answer to the questions. In the Sports Hall, there were plenty of activities for everybody to do and, in a small room next to the hall, somebody was leading a dance class.

We had a fantatsic time and are looking forward to going there in September. We would highly recommend Cambourne Village College.
