BBC Radio 2 500 words 2017

500 words is a story writing competition for children organised by BBC Radio2.

Get reading, get writing, get inspired.

To enter you need to write an original story that is no more than 500 words long.

There are 2 groups - aged 5-9 and aged 10 -13.

Prizes will be awarded in each age group as follows

First Prize: Chris Evans' height in books (1.88m) + 500 books for the school.

Second Prize: A stack of books as tall as our Honorary Judge, Her Royal Higness the Duchess of Cornwall.

Third Prize: Your own height in books.
